A message from EH Police Chief Cannizzo

Tomorrow between noon and 6 p.m. the East Hanover Fire Dept ( Chief Carmine Davino & Deputy Fire Chief Paul Larena ) will be driving the Easter Bunny around all residential neighborhoods. We expect everyone to continue to practice social distancing while remaining on their own property during the bunny escort.

Also a couple of reminders;

1- Stay informed with this pandemic by visiting https://covid19.nj.gov/ it is very informative.

2- Unfortunately the " Birthday Parades" are becoming a problem as we have seen it violate social distancing and essential travel guidelines. For everyone's health and safety we urge all residents not to participate in such parades

3- Make sure all your vehicles are locked overnight as there has been an increase in thefts to unlocked vehicles.

4- All religious services are suspended. Please do not show up in the parking lots. Please refer to the church website for live streaming options.

Morristown Department of Public Safety

The community continues to come together to help. Check out Mobile Makers KLLC and the help they deliver all over NJ

Yesterday afternoon, the Department of Public Safety was the fortunate recipient of 30 face shields that were donated by Jason Mariano of Whippany. Jason is a teacher and the owner of Mobile Makers LLC and has been creating these face shields on his 3D printers. So far, he has made and donated over 800 masks to first responders and health care workers across New Jersey and he shows no signs of stopping. Jason has been accepting donations to help him buy the materials and has then been printing, creating, and distributing these life-saving shields through word of mouth and by reaching out to any agency where he thinks he can help.
